Develop Your Plan
There are four key steps to guide you to success on your Kinetix journey:
1. Set a Goal
Having a clear goal is the first step toward achieving dramatic results. Take a moment to think about your goal. What’s your vision for success? Do you see the person you want to be?
Next step: Write your goal down. Make it a SMART goal.
- Specific
- Measurable
- Action-oriented
- Realistic
- Time-sensitive
For example, if your goal is… “I want to look good at the beach this summer.” …a SMART goal would be: “I want to lose 8 lbs. of body fat by July Fourth weekend.”

2. Have a Plan
This is where we come in. Kinetix provides a step-by-step, how-to plan to get you in the best shape of your life. Our combination of fitness + nutrition + support delivers results that last. Whatever your fitness goal, you can achieve it. Take the opportunity to connect with a Kinetix coach. He or she can help personalize a plan for you.
3. Track Your Progress
You’ve set your goal and have a plan. Now it’s time to track your progress. How are you doing? Only you can really answer that question. How do you feel? What changes have you noticed? You may not even recognize the small daily changes, but they add up over time.
To keep you on track, we offer two tools to hold yourself accountable:
- Journaling. Each day you should record your meals and exercise. This is a great way to make sure you’re hitting your K-counts and maximizing your workouts. The Kinetix journal also includes a weekly planning and progress report. Meticulous journaling is crucial for results. We’ve found that clients who journal are twice as likely to reach their goals. - Body Composition Analysis (BCA). A BCA measures your lean muscle and body fat so that you can determine your percent body fat (PBF). We recommend you get a baseline BCA when you start and 8-weeks later to see your progress. To learn more about body composition analysis, check out the BCA frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Finally, enlist the support of others! Tell friends, family, and co-workers about your goal! Find a work-out partner to push you in the gym. Form a Kinetix lunch club to share k-balanced meals. Don’t forget the entire Kinetix community is available 24/7 for inspiration and advice.
4. Celebrate Success
Did you hit your goal? If so, great! Take time to celebrate your success and think about what you want to achieve next. If you’re not quite there yet, don’t give up! Sometimes you need to reset your goal or recommit to your plan. Remember, healthy living is a life-long journey! And the entire Kinetix community will support you every step of the way.
