Roasting vegetables concentrates their sweetness and makes every vegetable taste better. These string beans are fabulous!
- Preparation Time: 10 minutes
- Cooking Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, stems removed
- cooking spray
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F. Spread the beans out in one layer on a jelly roll pan or roasting pan. Spray lightly with the cooking spray and roast, tossing the beans occasionally, until tender and lightly browned about 15 to 20 minutes. Toss with the remaining ingredients and cook 2 minutes longer.
Tips
- You can eliminate the garlic and just use the balsamic and you can add a few tablespoons of chopped fresh herb (like rosemary, parsley or basil) as well.

- There are really delicious and easy to make. You can add other veggies if you want, like sliced onions or even zucchini, all fresh from your garden.
