Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and thinly sliced
- large pinch red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon water, or more as needed
- 1 bunch kale, green or red, thick stems and ribs removed, leaves cut in thin strips, washed but not dried
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
Instructions
- Spray a large saucepan with nonstick spray and warm over high heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and the tablespoon of water and cook 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add the kale, salt and pepper and cover. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Drizzle with the vinegar and serve.
