This is a great way to cook broccoli: crisp and green and dressed with salty capers, golden garlic and spicy pepper flakes.

Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 2 large garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 medium head broccoli, trimmed and cut into 2-inch florets
- 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and drained
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
- pinch red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
Instructions
- Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds.
- Add the broccoli, capers, salt, red-pepper flakes and water.
- Cover and steam until the broccoli is crisp-tender, about 4 minutes.
- Stir in the lemon zest and cook, uncovered, until the water evaporates, about 1 minute longer. Serve hot.

- This is the best broccoli recipe ever! I highly recommended it. PS - it's so good I could eat the whole portion and (since it's K0) I think that's technically ok :)
