A: Actually, no, for a couple of reasons. First, over the course of a year, missing a few workouts here and there will have a minimal effect on your overall results. Second, more is not better. Doubling up on your exercise makes it twice as hard for your body to repair all the muscle fiber damage done during your catch-up day. This can lead to over exercise and may slow your results. The bottom line: don’t worry about it. Get back on your program the next day, continue on with a great attitude and you will be successful.
