1.The Start
Place the balls of you feet at the edge of the bench and rest the fingertips of both hands on the top of the bench for support.
Stand with your back straight and knees slightly bent.

2.The Movement
Without bending your hips or knees, rise up on the balls of your feet as high as you can.
Hold for a one count then slowly lower the weight until your heels go below the bench and you feel a stretch in your calf muscles.

Watch your form!
Lower your heels as far as possible but do not rest your heels on the ground, keep tension on your calf muscles for the duration of the set.
Try not to twist your ankles as you raise up.
